  1. They look beautiful. I have been waiting for the Silvertip version since you first announced them on your blog. All I need now is a HMB version to complete my set!

  2. Thank you! I'm slowly adding more brushes to the range so it may be on the horizon.

  3. These look great. Have you sold out of the silvertip in blue?

  4. Yes, they quickly sold out so I removed the photo.

  5. Still have the New Forest Tubby 1 Super Badger Two Band Alpolina? It's quite attractive.

  6. Do you have any 2-band of this kind with a lower loft? Say 48 or 49 mm...

  7. The Tigris Perla version has a 50mm loft. That makes it as firm as I think this hair should be. Any lower would make it a very stiff brush.

  8. I would love the Alpolina with a 50mm loft, but I guess it is not possible...

  9. I have no immediate plans to produce more with a lower loft. I get excellent feedback about the effectiveness of the Tubby 1 with a 52mm loft. It's very popular among those who like to face lather.

  13. Hey Peter, any plans to restock Tubby 1 in a darker color? Navy or black maybe? Finding I preferring MWF/Cella soaps right now and enjoying face lathering them up and fear I will abuse my beloved 2223 HMW - it works great for these soaps but such a treat with creams I hate to mash it into my jaw to get the soaps worked up right.

  14. I have a New Forest 2401 Two Band coming out soon in more colours. Same knot and loft as the Tubby 1 - similar but different handle.

  15. I finally ordered my Tubby 1 and let me tell you, it and my 1901 have become the two most used brushes I own. I have Silvertips of all kinds, High Mountain, etc., Best badgers, Finest and on and on. I can lather any soap,no matter what it's reputation is, no problem no special techniques, with either brush. And they are both beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. I know a lot of people complained when you changed from the old logo but I think it looks great this way. Keep up the good work Peter it is greatly appreciated and never taken for granted by us.

  16. Thank Ken

I have never known any change of logo to be universally welcomed. But memories are short!
